Steve McDonnell
Steve McDonnell is the Director of Quality Assurance for the Company. Steve joined in January 2020, and previously served as Vice President, Quality Assurance at the Cardiac Science Corporation.
Steve began his career at General Dynamics Corporation, where he held a succession of engineering positions culminating with Chief Engineer of the Block 20 F-16 Program. After 14 years in the Aerospace Defense industry, Steve transitioned into the Consumer Telecommunications industry with the Cellular handset division of Motorola. At Motorola he managed the development of a series of software platforms for leading edge cell phones, including the first 3G 2-way video capable handset. After seven years in the Consumer Telecommunications industry, Steve moved into the Medical Device Industry with Baxter Healthcare Corporation where he was a Senior Director of Engineering in the Electro-mechanical device group. Steve has also served as a Vice President of R&D at American Medical Systems, and as Senior Director of PMO at Smiths Medical Company.
Steve received his Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and his Master’s of Science in Software Engineering from Texas Christian University. He also has a Masters Certificate in Program Management from the George Washington University, and a certificate in Configuration Management from Arizona State University
